Plant Camp! is a week-long day camp for students entering Grades 3 - 6 exploring plants, their use and their role in our world.
Each morning, students will learn a plant based skill, such as propagation or “keying plants” in the garden, greenhouse or lab.
After lunch and a craft, we will explore a different local biome with an expert. See carnivorous plants in a kettle bog, taste wild edibles in fields and borders, learn the mysteries of a hemlock forest, and find the plants hiding beneath the surface of a fresh-water pond.
Students will make, plant and bring home several items over the course of the week.
