Summer Youth Music School (SYMS) 80th Anniversary Alumni Reunion Registration

In celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Summer Youth Music School (SYMS) at the University of New Hampshire, we are inviting all alumni back to Durham and once again perform on campus with your favorite summer friends. This includes former SYMS campers, counselors, faculty, and staff.

Participants will have the option of performing with one of the following ensembles:

Johnson Concert Band – Dr. Andrew Boysen, Jr., conductor
Swain Concert Band – Dr. Erika Svanoe, conductor
Symphony Orchestra – Dr. David Upham, conductor
Jazz Band – Dr. Nathan Jorgensen, director (by invitation only)
Jazz Choir – Daniel Bukvich, director
Mixed Chorus – Dr. Amy Kotsonis, conductor

Schedule:

• Friday, July 24: Rehearsals will begin at 9:00 am and conclude at 5:30 pm
• Saturday, July 25: Dress rehearsals will be throughout the day in Johnson Theatre
• Saturday, July 25 at 7:00 pm: All participants will perform in an evening concert at 7:00 pm for the 2026 SYMS campers

Pricing: $150 (does not include housing, dining, or parking on Friday, July 24th.)

Housing: Housing deadline is June 15
