Building on the foundation established in the introductory unit, this intermediate unit also consists of eight modules aimed at enhancing teaching skills, with a focus on applying advanced strategies for creating inclusive and effective learning environments, designing instruction, and assessing student learning. Participants will deepen their understanding and refine their skills to meet diverse student needs and uphold professional standards. By the end of this intermediate unit, participants will have advanced their teaching skills, deepened their understanding of inclusive and effective instructional practices, and developed a comprehensive approach to assessing and supporting student learning. Participants will be better equipped to create engaging and equitable learning environments and to continually improve their professional practice.

Some unit assignments will require you to schedule meetings with specific individuals within your school community to discuss topics and gain perspectives from your professional learning community.
