Course Description

Quite often, managers just want to know what training is available to make their staff more productive, or how to modify behaviors quickly. Less often, is a training needs assessment completed to ensure training is addressing the actual business and employee needs.

In this workshop, you will learn the benefits of completing a training needs assessment, examine the key components at the organizational, team, and employee levels, and discuss the various ways to measure the knowledge, skills, and abilities of your employees.

You will have an opportunity to review case studies in small groups and work through identifying the business need, performing a gap analysis, assessing training options, and communicating training needs and recommended plans to organizational leadership.
