Approved by NASW, NH Chapter, for 20 Cat. 1 CE Credits, Approval # 886789438-8593

Learn to assess and conceptualize presenting issues from an Adlerian, trauma-focused perspective and then implement creative strategies and techniques that improve client resilience and psychosocial adjustment.  The training will introduce new advances in Adlerian theory and practice focusing on strategies and techniques that facilitate growth and psychosocial wellbeing. The training provides an alternative developmental, psychosocial paradigm to the psychobiological focus of the psychiatric field. Participants will:

  • Learn to identify symptoms based in trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s) that lead to the presenting mental health symptoms
  • Demonstrate increased knowledge in Adlerian Psychology theory and practice by assessing and conceptualizing cases from an Adlerian perspective
  • Develop clinical skills in both assessment and treatment strategies focused on building client resilience and psychosocial well-being rather than merely to control or decrease symptoms.
