Course Description

The UNH Professional Coaching Certificate empowers individuals with the essential skills for successful coaching. Engage with core coaching competencies to acquire the foundational knowledge and techniques necessary to be an effective coach. Working with expert experienced instructors, you’ll explore key topics such as building strong coaching relationships, facilitating impactful coaching conversations, asking powerful questions, setting goals, fostering accountability, recognizing underlying stories and observations, and coaching across differences. Additionally, the program provides insights into business development for coaching professionals. You'll have ample opportunities to practice and refine your coaching abilities through peer-to-peer coaching, group practice, and individual mentoring.

The UNH Certificate in Professional Coaching has officially been approved as a Level 1 ICF Accredited Coaching Education Provider by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), recognizing the program’s excellence in meeting rigorous global coaching standards.

Curriculum & Certificate Schedule

Classes meet monthly on Tuesdays, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All modules are Live Online on Zoom.

* Tuition includes three individual mentor hours. Seven group mentor hours are built into the modules. Mentors will be assigned at the beginning of the session. Ten peer coaching hours are required to complete the program. Details and instructions will be provided to participants in each cohort.
