Course Description
The UNH Certificate in Professional Coaching empowers professionals with the foundational skills and core coaching competencies needed to lead more effectively, foster meaningful growth, and navigate complex conversations with confidence. Through a dynamic, cohort-based learning experience, participants engage in hands-on coaching practice, reflection, mentorship, and real-time feedback designed to strengthen both coaching and leadership capacity.
Working with experienced instructors and credentialed coaches, participants explore key topics such as building strong coaching relationships, facilitating impactful coaching conversations, asking powerful questions, fostering accountability, recognizing underlying stories and assumptions, and coaching across differences. Opportunities for peer coaching, group practice, and individual mentoring are integrated throughout the program to support continued growth and skill development.
This program is designed for:
- Individuals pursuing a path in professional coaching
- Managers and leaders seeking to strengthen coaching skills in the workplace
- Professionals looking to deepen their existing coaching practice
Accreditation
The UNH Certificate in Professional Coaching has officially been approved as a Level 1 ICF Accredited Coaching Education Provider by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), recognizing the program’s excellence in meeting rigorous global coaching standards. The curriculum is designed to prepare participants to pursue the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.
This course has been approved for SHRM PDCs (36 PDCs)
