TTC-T-0090 - Lunch 2 Go - Sign Retroreflectivity
Course Description
This session will review sign retroreflectivity assessment and management methods. Attendees will learn how to conduct the various sign retroreflectivity assessments, including nighttime inspection, as well as there will be a brief discussion of federal sign requirements and management methods. Participants are asked to please bring a used sign with them to class, for the purpose of testing.
This session will also include a tour of the host municipality's sign shop and operations.
Attendees should come prepared for potentially spending time outside, including high-vis PPE to work roadside, appropriate attire to protect against insects and sun, etc.
This course is open to NH municipal and state public works agencies only.
Food/Services: Please bring your own bagged lunch for this workshop. There will be no food/beverage service with this workshop, but there will be an opportunity for attendees to eat a bring-your-own bagged lunch during the presentation.
Withdrawal Policy: In the event that you are unable to attend a program for any reason, please note you must submit your withdrawal via email to T2.Center@unh.edu or via phone message to 603.862.1362 at least 72 hours in advance of the start of a program to receive a refund. If a withdrawal is not received by UNH T2 at least 72 hours prior to the program start, the full program fee will be charged and is nonrefundable. Substitutions are allowable at any time, and UNH T2 staff will be happy to assist in registering an alternative attendee from your organization at no cost.
