TTC-T-0094 - Local Road Safety Plans
Course Description
What is a Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP), how does it differ from a Road Safety Audit (RSA) or the Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) and WHY should your municipality have a LRSP? This fast-paced session will review the importance of LRSPs, as well as how LRSPs can help your agency in applying for funding, including under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) such as through Safe Streets For All (SS4A). And most importantly- we'll dive into the LRSP DIY site which is packed full of tools and resources to help develop and implement a Local Road Safety Plan. Attendees will be asked to bring information and data to this course, to support our breakout activities. Additional details will be emailed 10 days prior to the session date.
This course is open to NH municipal and state public works agencies only.
Food/Services: Please bring your own bagged lunch for this workshop. There will be no food/beverage service with this workshop, but there will be an opportunity for attendees to eat a bring-your-own bagged lunch during the presentation.
Withdrawal Policy: In the event that you are unable to attend a program for any reason, please note you must submit your withdrawal via email to T2.Center@unh.edu or via phone message to 603.862.1362 at least 72 hours in advance of the start of a program to receive a refund. If a withdrawal is not received by UNH T2 at least 72 hours prior to the program start, the full program fee will be charged and is nonrefundable. Substitutions are allowable at any time, and UNH T2 staff will be happy to assist in registering an alternative attendee from your organization at no cost.
