Course Description

SAFETY - 5 hours

Flaggers are in a very dangerous and responsibility-ridden position, playing a crucial role in temporary traffic control. The safety of workers, motorists, and pedestrians is dependent upon the flagger’s performance. Since the flagger position is directly involved with public safety, proper training is vital; flaggers are expected to pass a test to prove their proficiency and competence level. Students will receive their ATSSA Flagger Certification in the mail (upon successful completion of the exam). This certification will be valid for 4 years.
