TTC-T-7641 - Excavator Operation - Hands On Only

Course Description

TECHNICAL - 6 hours

This one-day workshop is intended for someone with little to no excavator experience.  This workshop does not include any theory or classroom training.

Learn how to operate an excavator with one day in-the-field "hands-on" training. Basic techniques and daily excavator maintenance will be taught, as well as instructor-led training "on the excavator". The class will be small, so participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the instructors. 

Anticipated Learning Outcomes:
1. Demonstrate ability to safely operate an excavator which may including loading machine for trailering as well as excavation work.
2. Apply basic maintenance methods.
3. Demonstrate all aspects of safety from inside and outside excavator.
