TTC-T-7804 - Excavator & Loader Operation - Hands On Only

Course Description

5 Technical Hours

This is a one-day workshop geared towards students with little to no experience with loaders and/or excavators.  This workshop will provide a basic overview of excavators and loaders, for students that may be working with both in their roles.

Learn how to operate an excavator and loader with one day in-the-field "hands-on" training. Basic safety operations and daily maintenance basics will be discussed, as well as instructor-led training on the excavator and loader. The class will be small, so participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the instructors.

Anticipated Learning Outcomes:
1. Demonstrate safe operation and basic maintenance techniques for both a loader and an excavator.
2. Use a loader and excavator to effectively and safely load a truck with material.
