Course Description

Scattered across New Hampshire’s forests and mountains are the remnants of plane crashes long forgotten—but each has a story to tell. Discover the history behind these tragedies and the mysteries that still linger. We’ll begin with the challenges of early navigation, explore stories behind several notable crashes and hear the presenter’s own adventures. Crashes featured include the B-18 bomber in 1942, Northeast Airlines flight 792 in 1954, Northeast Airlines flight 946 in 1968, the 1996 Christmas Eve crash of a Learjet business jet and “The Missing Doctors Crash." Join us for a journey through history, aviation and the rugged landscapes that hold these haunting reminders of the past.
