Course Description

Artificial intelligence is a new variable in your instruction, but your experience and expertise remain the same. This workshop focuses on the foundational knowledge you need to approach this landscape with confidence rather than apprehension.  We will explore how to ground your instruction in your existing strengths while fostering a classroom environment where you and your students can approach AI use with intent.

Participants will:

  1. Build a foundational understanding of generative AI capabilities and limitations.
  2. Integrate generative AI into your professional practice ethically and intentionally.
  3. Facilitate conversations with students about AI and its role in their learning.
