Course Description

People are promoted because they are good at their jobs. Being in a leadership position is a very different job, for which most are not trained. This presentation dispels myths associated with effective leadership and provides common sense approaches that supervisors and managers can immediately apply. Attendees will learn what works and what doesn't and leave with enhanced communication and motivational skills. In keeping with the topic, the session will be both didactic and experiential.
