Course Description

Bring on Focus and Self-Regulation for all Students!

Kids get off the bus and enter the classroom. As an educator, you never know what to expect when they walk through that door. Will you spend the day playing interference, reminding the same 2 or 3 students to organize themselves, pay attention or participate appropriately? There are many strategies out there to engage students and aid the classroom flow. How can you use movement while learning curriculum concepts? How about mindfulness adventures that not only calm but may increase self-regulation? How do you begin to pick the right interventions and the correct time to apply them? Come to this seminar to specifically learn what can work best based on development, emotional control and brain research.
