Course Description
This 8 hour course is required prior to taking the NH state pesticide applicator exams for the Supervisory Registration Certificate – General Use license in the Microbial Control category (F8).Individuals aiming to become licensed at the operational level and those aiming to obtain a restricted use supervisory license in the F8 category will also benefit from this course. Licensed applicators and anyone using pesticides in microbial management are also encouraged to attend. This course is approved for 8 recertification credits.
Commercial applicator category Microbial Pest Control (F8) is a subcategory of Industrial, Institutional, Structural, and Health Related Pest Control (F). This subcategory is for commercial applicators who wish to use or supervise the use of pesticides to control fungi, mold, bacteria, algae and shellfish within structures and industrial processing facilities including, but not limited to, brewery pasteurizing systems, air washers, pulp and paper mills, and recirculating cooling water systems, in, on, or around public or private dwellings, schools, and any other structures and adjacent areas.. Applicators must also complete the Core course prior to taking the state exams to obtain the Supervisory Registration Certificate – General Use license.
