Course Description

The components of adventure are often the same, no matter where the journey leads. Perhaps following a thru-hike of the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail is the adventure you need from the comfort of home, or maybe it will inspire your own trek. In this course, Rand “Half-Time” Clark shares the story of turning a dream into reality, beginning the journey and drawing connections between life on the trail and lessons learned along the way. The adventure also includes memorable encounters with snakes, bears and even airplane crash sites discovered along the trail.
