An examination of standard and useful rules that, like most rules, do not apply all of the time, depending on the circumstances. Often practitioners apply the first rule they encounter thinking it will make the problem disappear, or, more likely, are not fully versed on all the options available and how they may or may not apply. This workshop examines shortcomings of certain rules thought to be standard and why they might be the wrong approach.
