PDT-TchMS-21 - Inquiry Teaching Methods: Deep Dive into Science Practices

Course Description

In this class, educators explore new pedagogical understandings and skills to develop an understanding of the science practices used to understand our natural and man-made world around us. The goal is to enable educators to construct a more complete and accurate understanding of the NGSS Science Practices and the central role these practices play in learning science concepts.  This workshop aims to further educator’s abilities to identify the developmental levels of the science practices and to redesign science activities in ways that will promote students’ development of these skills.
