Module Overview 

In this module, participants are introduced to fundamental information necessary to support successful telehealth practice across disciplines. Key content includes the history of telehealth, telehealth terminology, the digital divide and ethical considerations.  

Learning Objectives 

1. Summarize important historical milestones in telehealth including major drivers of telehealth use. 

2. Describe the four telehealth modalities and appropriate applications in the delivery of care. 

3. Discuss three key ethical considerations related to the use of telehealth.
