Course Description

Becoming competent in multiple evidence-based modalities can feel overwhelming and lead to burnout, especially when they are learned in fragmented ways. Utilizing the Brain- and Body-Aligned Responsive Systems (BBARS) of Excellence framework, you will learn integrated, evidence-based, practical application strategies. You will walk away knowing how to implement social-emotional learning in both explicit and responsive ways, utilize trauma-responsive approaches to support student needs and behavior, effectively support students with mental health diagnoses, and foster an equitable educational experience from belonging to academic engagement.
Come prepared for an engaging experience that models the use of the framework and includes a variety of learning modalities. Leave feeling empowered to effectively address the needs of your students and your professional self!
