Course Description

Managers are being challenged to develop new skills that are needed to effectively support their teams in today’s rapidly changing workforce. Many are leading remote teams for the first time and wrestling with how to coach and give effective performance feedback. Whether you are new to managing people or are a seasoned team or department leader, this workshop will help you leverage the power of Peer Coaching to foster meaningful connections among employees, enable collaboration and communication and improve engagement and job satisfaction.

Drawing upon research and the application of relational learning as a highly effective workplace learning and development approach, you will learn a model for facilitating Peer Coaching in one-on-on, small teams and larger groups that can quickly, cost-effectively and sustainably lead to individual, team and organizational performance breakthroughs.

Course topics will include how Peer Coaching differs from traditional executive or leadership coaching, Peer Coaching requirements, roles and responsibilities, effective Peer Coaching competencies and best practices for formally or informally implementing a Peer Coaching program in your organization.
