Course Description

This workshop is designed to challenge educators to think outside of the box in understanding autism, neurodiversity and understand evidence-based strategies to support autistic individuals across the lifespan. Participants will explore the evolving definitions of autism and neurodiversity, analyzing the diverse developmental trajectories and characteristics of individuals on the spectrum. Armed with this foundational knowledge, educators will dive into the latest research backed interventions and approaches, learning how to integrate personalized comprehensive plans that address the unique social, communication, behavioral and cognitive needs of their diverse students. This course focuses on early intervention to adulthood addressing focused interventions. This course also offers bonus comprehensive materials that address:
