Course Description

Imagination is embedded in every cognitive function—powering our ability to simulate future possibilities, predict, dream, remember, and wander through novel solutions to scientific problems and artistic creation. It helps us get on the “same wavelength” with others, suspend disbelief, engage in “as if” situations, and play.

This immersive, experiential workshop blends breathwork, movement, poetry, depth writing, and case simulations to celebrate and cultivate your imagination—especially its conscious and therapeutic uses. Along the way, we'll draw from evolutionary, anthropological, psychological, and neuroscientific perspectives, while also exploring how trauma can disrupt imaginative capacities.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring any materials you need for writing.
