Course Description

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This program is traditionally a face-to-face classroom training program, but the Fall 2020 Semester section will be held online as we prioritize distance learning in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Project management skills are no longer just for high-level leaders and managers. Understanding project management methods and processes has become a required core competency for all team members.

In nonprofit organizations, often people who aren’t career project managers are asked to lead a project - and with unreasonable expectations for output. Learn how to implement simple and easy project management principles into your nonprofit’s standard operating procedures and start to do more with less today!

Project Management for Nonprofit Organizations is a condensed version of Introduction to Basic Project Management and will introduce a simple ‘must-do’ structure for leading a project.

Course content is applicable to traditional nonprofit projects including grant reporting, research, fundraising campaigns, and expansion.
