Introduction to Web Design will focus on the unique characteristics of designing content for effective online communication.

You will be introduced to the tools and process for structuring a web page using HTML5 and CSS.

This comprehensive overview will also include:

• website organization
• principles of visual design
• design fundamentals for text, color, images, and multimedia
• navigation considerations
• page layout
• accessibility criteria
• specific issues of design for multiple browsers and devices

Group discussions will provide practical experience in critiquing websites for effective design elements.
