Course Description

New Workshop!

In constantly changing work environments, leaders find themselves with a variety of diverse, and often conflicting, organizational and personal situations. Gender norms, personal preferences, and implicit bias can inhibit a leader's ability to adapt. In this workshop you will learn and practice the art of situational leadership--specifically through the lens of gender differences. Being aware of personal biases and having the ability to be empathetic to the perceptions of others are paramount to developing effective situational leadership skills. To develop and hone your skills as a flexible leader, you will engage in activities and exercises that focus on emotional intelligence competencies as well as gender intelligence best practices. This will be a fun, thought-provoking, and challenging day, providing tools that you can immediately apply back at work.

(This is part of the Leadership and Management Certificate Programs, but you do not need to enroll in the programs to take this workshop.)
