Course Description

Planning in today’s competitive environment is a critical skill that determines the overall success or failure of any business endeavor. A good plan requires a sound foundation based on customer, industry changes, and strategic outlook of the organization. Strategic planning is about setting priorities, making decisions and taking actions to meet goals. It is developing the plan that will guide the organization over a period of time with a focus on achieving long-term goals and a vision; it is the plan that enables for success of any strategic initiative.

Strategic planning provides a roadmap for success that outlines the steps the organization as a whole, a division, a department or a project team will take to achieve an overall goal or vision. During this interactive workshop, we will examine strategic planning tools and methodologies, their strengths, weaknesses and application to overall portfolio management.
