Course Description

Explore the many possibilities open to educators to promote leadership among our students and, thus, begin the direction to create a school culture of kindness and respect. Each participant will examine and discuss the importance of empowering students to lead and experience what it means to give students “permission” to use their voices to impact and evoke positive change within the school culture. Participants will leave this presentation with “tool box” full of activities, strategies and methods to engage the student in building kindness and respect in school. This presentation is activity based to promote active learning. Dress in clothing to allow physical movement.
