This workshop dispels myths associated with effective leadership and provides common sense approaches. Participants will: learn what works and what doesn't; assess and re-think commonly held beliefs about effective leadership; learn ways to enhance communication and increase motivation; leave with immediately applicable skills that they can incorporate into their management and supervisory styles. Time will be allotted for how best to share potential changes with employees and colleagues. In keeping with the topic, the session will be both didactic and experiential.
Building Effective & Productive Teams – Tammy Jordan
In effective and productive teams, members know how to best contribute their unique skills and talents to achieve results that individual effort alone can’t reach. As the most critical role in leading the team to achieve their goals, Supervisors must navigate the many components and stages of productive teams. In this session, participants will learn strategies, techniques and specific actions to create successful team dynamics and facilitate results.
