PDT-TchMS-13 - Next Generation Science Standards for Administrators

New Hampshire has adopted the Next Generation Science Standards as the foundation for science instruction in the state. Teachers will be adjusting their teaching to those standards, and administrators will play a key role in helping their teachers be successful. Administrators will need a full understanding of the underlying principles incorporated into the standards in order to be supportive. This workshop will provide a clear understanding of the NGSS, and will provide an opportunity for district and school administrators to discuss ways of achieving successful implementation in their schools. This workshop is intended for an audience of principals, curriculum coordinators, superintendents and assistant superintendents.
