Course Description

Do you need more time for students to practice speaking in the classroom? Flipping your instruction allows you to rethink the use of the class time. The flipped classroom is pedagogically sound because it is student-centered instruction and personalized-differentiated learning.

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to flip a class.

Explore ways to make learning material available outside of class so you can free up class time for interaction and real communication. Learn techniques for exposing students content before class, and identify in-class activities that facilitate the development of oral skills.

Materials produced to be presented can be revisited and reused, giving students control of the when, where and how of their learning. All ideas presented can be easily implemented with any language or level.

Come and learn practical strategies for flipping the classroom to motivate and push students to learn more.
