CPCD-WR-04 - Academic Writing: Reducing Anxiety

Course Description

This workshop is only open to individuals attending the UNH Graduate School's 2024 Winter Writing Retreat. There are 30 spots available on a first-come fist-served basis. If you register, you will be asked to confirm your participation prior to the event. Any unconfirmed spots will be given to the next student in line.

When: Tuesday, January 16th from 1:00-4:00 PM
Where: Online via Zoom (Watch party available in HS210)
Description: This online academic writing course is a practice-based 7-step strategy that turns the traditional approach to academic writing on its head. By the end of the workshop, students will have a detailed plan (down to the last paragraph) of the structure for their chapter or essay with some parts written. The workshop caters to all subject areas at any stage of writing. If you are almost done writing, this workshop will help you revise and tighten up your writing. Facilitated by Dr. Catriona Ryan of Scriptor Cube.
