TTC-V-0081 - Intro to Public Works Budgeting
Course Description
This workshop is perfect for those new to public works leadership, experienced managers new to municipal and government employment, or anyone responsible for developing, executing, and defending a municipal highway budget. The instructor will review the below topics.
- Review how highway and public works budgets are developed and managed
- What happens during emergencies when a budget must be adjusted?
- Review applicable state policies and procedures
- How to present - and potentially defend- your budget
- The role of planning and asset management in budgeting
Withdrawal Policy: In the event that you are unable to attend a program for any reason, please note you must submit your withdrawal via email to T2.Center@unh.edu or via phone message to 603.862.1362 at least 72 hours in advance of the start of a program to receive a refund. If a withdrawal is not received by UNH T2 at least 72 hours prior to the program start, the full program fee will be charged and is nonrefundable. Substitutions are allowable at any time, and UNH T2 staff will be happy to assist in registering an alternative attendee from your organization at no cost.
