EXT-Pest-RoW-004 - UNH Extension Pesticide Safety Right of Way Training
Course Description

This 8 hour course is required prior to taking the NH state pesticide applicator exams for the Supervisory Registration Certificate – General Use license in the Right of Way Commercial Weed and Brush Control category (B).
Individuals aiming to become licensed at the operational level and those aiming to obtain a restricted use supervisory license in the B category will also benefit from this course. Licensed applicators and anyone using pesticides in weed and brush management are also encouraged to attend. This course is approved for 8 recertification credits.
This course will benefit anyone using pesticides in the control of weeds, brush, and other vegetation in walkways, roadsides, fence lines, utility corridors, and other spaces. Topics include weed identification, life cycles, and management; application equipment calibration and use; state and federal rules; and more. Applicators must also complete the Core course prior to taking the state exams to obtain the Supervisory Registration Certificate – General Use license. Search “EXT-PEST” for a list of all available pesticide licensing courses.
