EXT-PEST-INTR - UNH Extension Pesticide Safety - License Preparation for Private Applicators
Course Description

These pesticide safety training courses, offered annually in March/April, are designed to help agricultural producers gain foundational knowledge required for using pesticides.
Anyone applying pesticides of any type in the production of agricultural commodities (fruits, vegetables, forage crops, ornamentals, Christmas trees, etc) in NH is required to hold a NH pesticide applicator permit or license. This training will help producers prepare to take the NH state private applicator license exams and will cover core concepts of pesticide use and safety, the worker protection standard, and NH pesticide rules and regulations.
The course includes two half-days of instruction followed by a third day on which participants may take the NH state exams. Choose to attend one of three available locations.
