Course Description
Is a new public works building in your future? Then this session is for you! The session aims to provide comprehensive insights, strategies, and practical guidance to promote success of this significant infrastructure project. Hear from public works peers that completed the years-long process and cut the ribbon on their new facilities, as well as others that are close to breaking ground. They'll discuss lessons learned from the needs assessment and planning stage, site selection and design, budgeting/funding, project management, and community/stakeholder engagement.
By the end of this session, participants will have gained valuable insights into the crucial journey of planning, designing, and constructing a public works facility and will be better equipped to lead successful projects that contribute to the overall well-being and efficiency of their communities and teams.
