Course Description

In 2024, we presented a program Two Titans Collide, which told the story of Harvey Dow Gibson and Hannes Schneider - two world-class achievers - being brought together at North Conway only after Mr. Gibson was able to get Himmler and Hitler to release Herr Schneider from prison. That brings us to February 1939, as the story goes forward as Herr Schneider, supported by Gibson, developing America’s first major ski resort, hosting over 1 million visitors, while Mr. Gibson leads the Red Cross in Europe with 30,000 individuals, mostly volunteers, supporting troops on the Battlefield through VE Day. This session will picks up in1936 as Mr. Gibson dreams of a New Hampshire ski area, and Herr Schneider is already the world's Skimeister. Participants did not need to attend the first course to participate.
