Learn the theories and skills needed to manage a crisis to a successful conclusion, taking advantage of the opportunities for change and growth that also occur. You will review specific types of emergencies and their unique characteristics including: lethality, PTSD, sexual assault, personal loss, domestic violence and vicarious traumatization. Information and techniques will be introduced through PowerPoint, discussion, and role-plays. New as well as experienced professionals will benefit.
