Working from life models, investigate the human figure as a form with inner anatomical structure and surface features. With pencil and charcoal, explore different drawing methods varying from quick studies to time-devoted drawing. Using examples from art history, the discussion will explore topics including gesture, proportion, distortions and their suggestions and metaphors.
