Mindfulness is a buzz word today, not only in educational settings but in the everyday world. As we live our daily lives, we seem to be always moving, thinking and planning. Our stressors are at work, school, community and home. Today’s school environments can also reflect the “hubbub” of discombobulation. Teacher’s attrition has risen, trying to juggle the stress and demands of the 21st classroom. Others that work with students, whether they be counselors, para-educators or therapists want to feel the flow of connection as well.
