Mindfulness is a buzz word today, not only in educational settings but in the everyday world. As we live our daily lives, we seem to be always moving, thinking, planning and pivoting. Our stressors are at work, school, community, and home. Today’s school environments can also reflect the “hubbub” of discombobulation. Teachers’ attrition has risen, due to the challenges of juggling the demands placed on educators. Others that work with students, whether they be counselors, para-educators or therapists want to feel the flow of connection as well. When we think about seminars, we spend much of our time on learning how to connect with students. Come to this one to re-connect to yourself so you are better able to connect to and inspire your students. Let’s build some bridges instead of walls.
