April 15, 2020 | 1:00 - 3:00pm

There are more global virtual (remote) teams than ever before, and their numbers are increasing rapidly. While virtual teams provide organizations with numerous economic alternatives to the traditional face-to-face team structure, how do you lead a team you cannot see? On a day-to-day basis, team leaders face enormous pressures. When you factor in the need to manage teams in remote locations, the challenges increase. Although virtual teams are similar to traditional teams, leaders need to know how to foster an environment of virtual teamwork with practical strategies to guide performance and team relationships. Leading Virtual Teams provides leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead virtual teams to greater levels of effectiveness.

During this two-hour virtual workshop, the facilitator will share:

-    Best practices for building and maintaining trust and connection with virtual (remote) teams
-    How to establish clear team expectations based on business needs and outcomes to increase motivation and engagement
-    How to identify the unique capabilities of individuals to find the best team balance
-    The best tools to maximize the effectiveness of your communication
-    How to build a culture of accountability by managing performance--from a distance--more effectively
