Course Description

Are you ready for a fun challenge? Let’s do it together!

If you’ve always wanted to create your own clothing, costumes, accessories, and/or jewelry designs, this class will educate, encourage and provide professional tips to help you succeed. We will cover design concepts (sketching, research, planning and budgeting), illustration, measuring accurately, pattern making, construction (as needed) and embellishing. You will complete your own designed item.

On your registration include the project you would like to create and what materials you are bringing to class. The workshop meets twice from 6 to 8 p.m. Please choose a time-appropriate item to create. Although supplies needed will vary depending on your project, bring to the first class: pencils, erasers, markers, notebook, a measuring tool and tape.
