Course Description

Egg Tempera is a wonderful traditional material not frequently explored in a workshop setting. The quality of light and delicacy of surface inherent in the technique of egg tempera make it a unique painting technique.

Each participant should come with some form of source material, for example a sketch or a photograph. These sources are meant for development of your ideas and will serve as a broad starting point towards your goals for making an image. Source material could be from direct observation, for example, self-portrait, landscape or still-life, or from a photograph or image found online, or a sketch from imagination.
