ATH-AYLaxSkills-01 - Girls Lacrosse Youth Skills
Course Description
This weekly community class is open to students in grades 3-8 and provides fun-filled instruction and emphasis on the fundamentals of Girls Lacrosse.
Players are grouped by age and ability in order to create an atmosphere that promotes development and ensures each participant receives appropriate technical and tactical training. Beginning players will receive instruction in basic techniques, rules and sportsmanship. More experienced players will be challenged in skill development and competition opportunities. Through the teaching of our highly qualified staff, these skills are reinforced with daily small-sided play and full-sided matches.
Players are required to bring their own protective equipment. Field players must have goggles, mouth guards, and lacrosse sticks. Goalies must bring all equipment. Cleats and/or turf shoes are strongly recommended.
Class is held at Tucker Field behind the UNH Field House, 145 Main St., Durham NH. Details regarding drop off location, time, and other information are sent via email from program staff to enrolled participants prior to the session start date.
Per NCAA rules, The University of New Hampshire's camps or clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
No refunds will be provided for the Lacrosse ID Clinic after the registration close date, including for missed classes.
