Course Description

 

This one-day workshop will focus on following the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service method for classifying wetlands and deep water habitats of the US. Classifying and accurately describing wetlands is an important component when preparing reports for state and federal permit applications, wildlife habitat analysis, and wetland mitigation design. Dress appropriately for outside fieldwork. There is a 2-mile casual hike on an established trail. Please wear comfortable and appropriate shoes.
