Course Description

Project Financial Analysis & Management is geared to managers, project managers and team members on any type of project who want to understand fundamental financial concepts used in the corporate funding decision making process.

This workshop will cover: project selection methods used to determine the comparative relative worth of potential project options; depreciation overview and methodologies; cost-estimating techniques; and the use of decision trees in financial decision-making.  Training will include in-class exercises that will give you a chance to apply the knowledge learned and provide you with valuable practical skills.

Project Financial Analysis & Management looks at concepts not covered in Project Cost Management: A Guide to Earned Value Management.  A familiarity with EVM is desirable, but not necessary as this material is "stand-alone".  There will be a brief EVM review to fill in any gaps.
